Q. Is Juice Squeeze supposed to be carbonated? It tastes “fizzy.”
A. Yes, all Crystal Geyser Juice Squeeze is lightly carbonated. We find that it enhances the flavor of the juices and offers a natural and refreshing alternative to carbonated soft drinks.


Q. Compared to a soft drink, how much carbonation does Juice Squeeze have?
A. It is lightly carbonated at about half the amount of carbonated soft drinks.


Q. What is the shelf life of Crystal Geyser Juice Squeeze?
A. Juice Squeeze is pasteurized and will not spoil if unopened and the tamper evident seal on the bottle is not broken. Juice Squeeze tastes best if consumed within one year.


Q. Why do you pasteurize Juice Squeeze?
A. The pasteurization process destroys natural bacteria and keeps Juice Squeeze safe and wholesome. Crystal Geyser does not use any artificial preservatives in Juice Squeeze. The pasteurization allows Juice Squeeze to be stored and sold from the non-refrigerated section of the grocery store.


Q. Why does the color of some Juice Squeeze bottles vary from one production date to another?
A. Crystal Geyser Juice Squeeze is a natural beverage. It contains no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, preservatives or stabilizers. Since we use only natural flavors and juices, these ingredients can vary from crop to crop and seasonally. Our QC staff works very hard to minimize these changes by maintaining tight specifications for our ingredients. We taste test Juice Squeeze frequently during production – so while there may be slight variations in color,we are confident that every bottle of Juice Squeeze will have the same great taste.


Q. What are the Natural Flavors in Juice Squeeze?
A. The natural flavors are derived from fruit and fruit juices.


Q. Is there supposed to be sediment or pulp in Juice Squeeze?
A. Yes, several of our Juice Squeeze flavors contain fruit pulp. For example, both our Ruby Grapefruit and Pink Lemonade have pulp and some settling of these natural solids may occur over time. Some flavors tend to show more sediment than others, but please be assured that after gentle shaking, the sediment disappears.


Q. Does the vitamin B12 you add come from meat or animal sources?
A. No. The vitamin B12 used is nature identical and does not come from animals.


Q. Why do the Nutrition Facts labels on Juice Squeeze list sugar as an ingredient if you do not add sugar to Juice Squeeze?
A. All fruits and fruit juices contain natural sugars. Juice Squeeze is sweetened only with fruit juice. We do not add any additional sugars to Juice Squeeze and the amount of sugar listed on the label comes solely from fruit juice.


Q. Why can’t Juice Squeeze be made in plastic bottles?
A. Crystal Geyser Juice Squeeze is pasteurized and lightly carbonated. To have this combination – pasteurized and carbonated – at present, only a glass bottle can be used. As the technology advances, this may change.
